Data from Coinshares shows investors leaving Bitcoin funds and have shown interest in funds focused on alternative cryptocurrencies including ether, XRP, and cardano (ADA). Ripple CTO David Schwartz unveils his vision for federated sidechains on the XRP Ledger for which developers and XRP community members are invited to review and provide feedback. Ripple fires back at the ICO indicating it never held an ICO because the XRP ledger was ALREADY in existence when Ripple was formed. So, prior lawsuits against companies that held ICOs by the SEC do NOT tend to show that Ripple had Fair Notice that what it was doing was illegal. Ripple is making an important distinction here. Publicly traded business intelligence firm MicroStrategy said it intends to offer $400 million senior secured notes to raise funds to purchase more bitcoin.
