Idaho judge severs Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell's murder trials #NotGuilty #TripleMurder #Severance

Seventh District Judge Steven Boyce has ruled that Lori Vallow Daybell will stand trial as planned on April 3rd, while Chad Daybell's trial will take place at a later date, following the granting of severance in the couple's doomsday-focused triple murder case. Both defendants have pleaded not guilty to murder, conspiracy, and grand theft charges in connection with the deaths of Vallow Daybell's children, 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow, and Tylee Ryan. They are also charged in connection with the October 2019 death of Chad Daybell´s late wife, Tammy Daybell. The couple could face the death penalty if convicted. While prosecutors had previously pushed for the couple to be tried together, the judge noted that prosecutors didn't give the defense attorneys the DNA evidence, a hair found at the crime scene, in a timely manner.
