Updating Your Status

Many of us feel we need to impress God by presenting a positive status of ourselves. Unfortunately this can affect others in the process when they begin to feel inadequate and fall into the 'negative comparison trap'. The book of Luke records the parable of two men going to the temple to pray to God. Whilst providing useful teaching on how we relate to God, it equally reveals the importance of how we relate with other people that affects our 'true' status with God. Maybe it's time you updated your status!
