93: Eating Bread Without Mind Drama

I’ve had an interesting relationship with bread over the last 15 years. For a long time I avoided it and felt guilty if I ate it. But here recently I’ve been making and eating a lot of bread and I don’t feel one smidgen guilty. I know how to work it into my diet without becoming unhealthy or gaining weight and, more importantly, I have peace and no mind drama about it. In a way, my evolution with bread reminds me of my evolving relationship with God. I had a lot of guilt and fear about Him. When I felt Him nudging me to be The Christian Nutritionist, I wanted to avoid Him; I didn’t want to be too Jesusy. And, now, I want to eat all the bread. The flour kind and the Jesus kind.
