It's impossible deny that Alex Georgiev is in the running for the Vezina at this point, as he posts yet another brilliant performance against the Dallas Stars by making 41 saves, and helping the Avalanche to an important divisional 4-1 win. Even more injuries have piled up for the Avs, but they simply do not care and continue to win. However, the Avalanche had a one off night with a 4-3 to the Vancouver Canucks, complete with some questionable officiating. Even still, the Avs are in great shape as they reach the tail end of some injuries, and there's no reason to think they are not favorite to repeat as champions.
