In this episode, Mike sits down with two intriguing castaways, Charity Nelms and Chrissy Sarnowsky, to explore their backgrounds and strategies as they prepare to outwit, outplay, and outlast in the upcoming season. Survivor 48 premieres Wednesday, February 26th at 8pmET/5pmPT with a jam-packed two hour episode. Join us at 10:15pmET/7:15pmPT following the episode for the first Survivor post-game podcast LIVE! Charity Nelms, a 34-year-old flight attendant and fitness coach from St. Petersburg, Florida, shares her inspiring journey to Survivor. Ten years ago, Charity was struggling with an eating disorder and found solace in watching Survivor. This sparked a transformation that led her to lose 100 pounds and build a successful fitness coaching business. Charity’s approach to the game is all about going “all in.” She plans to swing for the fences, embracing every opportunity to find advantages and idols. Her charismatic personality and leadership skills are her superpowers, but she acknowledges that her straightforward nature might be her kryptonite. Charity is determined to prove to herself that she can compete at the highest level, channeling the energy of her favorite Survivor players like Tony and Jane. With a no-regrets attitude, Charity is ready to dig deep and make her mark on Survivor 48. Chrissy Sarnowsky, a 55-year-old fire lieutenant from Chicago, brings her extensive life experience to the Survivor arena. Having been a paramedic and firefighter for over three decades, Chrissy is no stranger to high-pressure situations. Her journey to Survivor began with a spontaneous decision to apply after watching the show with her mom. Chrissy’s strategy revolves around building connections and alliances, leveraging her ability to relate to people from all walks of life. She identifies with players like Carolyn for their unapologetic authenticity and plans to be herself throughout the game. Chrissy’s biggest strength is her ability to connect with others, but she admits that her openness might also be a vulnerability. As the oldest cast member, she embraces her role as a potential mentor or “cool aunt” figure. Chrissy is excited to see how her firefighting skills translate to the challenges of Survivor 48, and she’s determined to represent her city and fellow firefighters with pride. With a focus on alliances and adaptability, Chrissy is ready to face the unpredictable nature of the game. Never miss a minute of RHAP’s extensive Survivor coverage!
