Scottish brothers prepare for 14,000km row from Peru to Australia

Three brothers, a rowboat, and a 14,000km journey across the high seas sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, but a four month journey across the Pacific is precisely what Jamie, Lachlan and Ewan Maclean plan to do. They hope to make the journey in 120 days — 42 days quicker than the record — and intend to become the first team to make the journey without stopping to pick up food supplies, all while hoping to raise $2 million to support clean drinking water projects in south-east Madagascar.
