NSW psychiatrists resign after pay negotiations falter

The New South Wales Government is being accused of abandoning mental health patients by failing to meet pay demands to retain psychiatrists. Yesterday acting NSW Premier Penny Sharpe told RN Breakfast that the government had put forward a pay offer and wanted the state's psychiatrists to come back to the negotiating table.  GUEST: Dr Pramudie Gunaratne, chair of the NSW Branch Chair of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
