Earlier this week, on Midway Atoll in the northern Pacific, biologists spotted a female albatross fussing over her new egg, along with her mate.  But this wasn't any albatross: she is the world's oldest known bird - first observed and tagged in the same location in 1956, and now estimated to be at least 74 years old.
