We're entering the second full week of the campaign and promises to ease the cost of living pressures, keep coming from both sides of politics. Labor unveiled — at the weekend — a solar battery subsidy scheme worth $2.3 billion, saying it will reduce the price of batteries for homes and businesses by 30 per cent. At the same time, the Coalition has detailed plans for further cuts to the number of international students in Australia claiming it will help ease the housing crisis.
