Israel to expand military operations in Gaza

Israel's Defence Minister has announced a major expansion of military operations in Gaza, with large areas to be seized and added to Israel's security zones, including along Gaza's border fence. At the same time, the minister says large-scale evacuations will take place from areas where there's fighting, with people in southern Gaza encouraged to move to a humanitarian zone on the coast, known as Al-Mawasi.
