The World Food Program has been given the go-ahead to send in 700-hundred trucks to famine-hit areas of Sudan. More than half the population of Sudan — or 25 million people — are in desperate need of humanitarian aid, as acute hunger and disease worsen across the country — in the midst of a civil conflict that has raged since April last year.
