In this week’s episode we chat with Benjamin Gleason, a key figure in the Brazilian and LatAm startup and tech ecosystem. Born and raised in Missouri, Benjamin has spent the majority of his professional career in Brazil, across a wide variety of roles. His first tech role in the country was as the managing director and CFO of Groupon Brasil, at a time of incredible growth for the company.After that he co-founded GuiaBolso, one of the first fintech companies out of the region, which was sold to PicPay after raising $66m from notable funds such as Ribbit Capital, QED and others. His last entrepreneurship endeavor is Kamino, another fintech play that aims to make it easy for Brazilians and founders to launch and manage their companies.
