No Ordinary Women - Un pódcast de Rose Stein and Lynn Pontillo - Jueves

This one is off the rails!! Sorry for the bad audio, our sound tech (Rose) downloaded new software and as you can hear, it didn't work out. First, Lynn tells us about Betty Lou Beets. Betty Lou had a rough childhood. She lost her hearing at a young age and was forced to care for her very young siblings when she was just 12. She married at the age of 15 and spent the rest of her free life in abusive relationships. She was convicted of murdering her fifth husband and was the second woman since the civil war to be put to death in Texas. Then Rose tells us about Jane Andrews who was a dresser for Sarah the Duchess of York. After growing up poor, Jane wanted so bad to be a wealthy socialite that when her boyfriend refused to marry her, she murdered him!Thank you to our sources!PhotoPhotoDocumentary; Investigation Discovery’s ‘Evil Lives Here: Momma Made Me HelpTrue Crime All The Time Podcast; Betty Lou Beets, Episode released 4, November 2018Tales From the Dark True Crime Podcast; Black Widow: Betty Lou BeetsExecution Report: Betty Beets - Page 1Where Is ‘Fergie’s Killer Dresser’ Jane Andrews Now?Jane Andrews | Murderpedia, the encyclopedia of murderersDuchess of York’s Jewelry Found at Kennedy Airport, Man Arrested
