This week on the Live to Walk Again Podcast we don't have any guests but we have some updates on some technology breakthroughs in the spinal cord injury research world. First we discuss an implanted electrode study out of Switzerland that has a paraplegic with a completely severed spinal cord walking again. Then we dive into an even more exciting research study coming out of Tel Aviv University in Israel that is taking cells from human stomach fat and reprogramming them to essentially become spinal cord cells and implanting them into mice with spinal cord injuries and having incredible success.
