Jaron Lanier on Melismata and Ogpu

Lexman interviews famed computer scientist and philosopher Jaron Lanier about his latest book, Melismata: How Music Reveals the Mind. In the book, Lanier discusses how melismas (the combining of two or more tones to create a new tone) can reveal a lot about a person's inner thoughts and emotions, and how Ogpu, an inqilab (a specialized think tank) can use melismas to improve productivity.
