In The Seats With...Jesse McCracken and 'Grey Roads'

Going home again is always going to unearth some change... in returning home to his home town of Markdale, Ontario he finds change is all around him. No longer a vibrant town and more of a sleepy bedroom community for Toronto commuters, he also finds his family influx, with only his father and grandfather remaining in town as he explores this sense of nostalgia for his old home town and his family. Confronted with two very different images of masculinity, 'Grey Roads' is a journey of self discovery inwards and Jesse (who also serves as narrator) asks "What Makes A Good Man?" Obviously a very personal journey that filmmaker Jesse McCraken takes us on and we ask him about the inspiration behind it all as well as the challenges behind making such a personal story.
