There are so many ways to follow ones passions in this day and age....We're in the thick of it as the Toronto International Film Festival kicks off today and runs until September 18th in what is marking a genuine return to film culture as the cinematic world is flocking to our streets as we speak.That's what makes this episode a special one as we've had a friend and a colleague who recently rediscovered his mojo for cinema as he's taken on a new job with the Toronto International Film Festival as Programmer of Digital Releasing as the festival has very deftly kept a little bit of the digital platform idea that we all got used to in the "pandemic" years and curated a selection of 24 films which will be available digitally all across Canada.We had the pleasure of sitting down with Norm to talk about what's going on, his new job the joys of finding diamonds in the rough of a festival lineup to share with the masses and the guarded optimism that the magic of the movies just might be back.
