Episode 314: In The Seats With...Ben Miliken and 'Run and Gun'

Variations on a theme are important...On this episode we have the distinct pleasure of talking with actor Ben Miliken who is the star of the new action/thriller Run & Gun which hits digital platforms today and on DVD on March 15th.After leaving a life of crime and violence, Ray (Ben) is a reformed good guy, enjoying a quiet family life in the 'burbs. But when his past is discovered, Ray is blackmailed into one last job to collect a mysterious package. After a deadly double-cross, he finds himself wounded and on the run from ruthless assassins who will stop at nothing to get what he has. Now, with the lives of his loved ones hanging in the balance and danger at every turn, Ray's only hope is to draw upon his violent past to survive. While it's got elements we've all seen before, it's also a film with a surprising amount of heart which is where it really thrives and we talked with Ben about reading the script, what he wanted to bring to the part and the role of research and watching in doing the work of an actor.
