En: Staré Město in Praha was full of colors and noise.

Cs: Masopust byl v plném proudu.
En: Masopust was in full swing.

Cs: Kostýmovaní lidé tančili po náměstí a hudba zněla vzduchem.
En: Costumed people danced across the square, and music filled the air.

Cs: Uprostřed této zimní veselice stál Jiri se svou neteří Radkou.
En: In the midst of this winter celebration stood Jiri with his niece Radka.

Cs: Jiri byl nadšený historik.
En: Jiri was an enthusiastic historian.

Cs: Miloval Prahu a její příběhy.
