Cs: Karel stál na kraji starobylých ruin, oči upřené na zasněženou cestu před sebou.
En: Karel stood on the edge of ancient ruins, eyes focused on the snow-covered path in front of him.

Cs: Za ním kráčela Zuzana, odvážná novinářka hledající příběh.
En: Behind him walked Zuzana, a brave journalist in search of a story.

Cs: Několik dní po Valentýnu stály v těchto tajemných ruinách zahalených sněhem.
En: A few days after Valentine's Day, they stood in these mysterious ruins shrouded in snow.

Cs: Vůně borovic se mísila s mrazivým vzduchem a Karel byl rozhodnutý najít vzácný artefakt, o kterém slyšel pověsti.
En: The scent of pines mingled with the frosty air and Karel was determined to find a rare artifact he had heard tales about.

Cs: "Zuzano, cesta může být zrádná.
En: "Zuzano, the path may be treacherous.

Cs: Ale musíme to zkusit," řekl Karel a usmál se jejím směrem.

Cs: "Musíme se odchýlit.
En: "We must deviate.

Cs: Pokud existuje šance, že je artefakt skutečně tady, musíme riskovat," rozhodl Karel a odbočil z hlavní pěšiny.
En: If there's a chance the artifact is truly here, we must take the risk," decided Karel and turned off the main path.

Cs: Sníh křupal pod jejich botami.
En: Snow crunched under their boots.

Cs: Kamenné stezky byly kluzké a slabé světlo zkracujícího se dneklouzalo po ruinách jako stíny.
En: The stone paths were slippery, and the weak light of the shortening day slid over the ruins like shadows.

Cs: Odhodlání Karla však zůstávalo nezměněné, navzdory obavám Zuzany.
En: However, Karel's determination remained unchanged, despite Zuzana's concerns.

Cs: Náhle se vítr změnil v prudkou vánici.
En: Suddenly, the wind turned into a fierce blizzard.

Cs: Karel zrychlil krok, hná zpátky svou touhou po objevu.

En: he called desperately into the white noise of the blizzard.
