This week I introduce you to Susan Hensley, who, at the end of our conversation, was surprised to understand that a couple of the stories she shared this week had to do with storms, or tempests...those wild weather events that sometimes shake us to our core! Susan shares a really potent story of what happened on a family vacation in Hawaii, and how she emerged on the other side of that vacation irrevocably changed. It's the perfect time to share this quotation from THE TEMPEST by Shakespeare, “We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life is rounded with a sleep.” We are made of dreams, little ones, and understanding that, I think, gives us that much more power over our lives.
