Island of Misfit Pirates (Dead Man’s Chest Minute 9)

Black Pearl Show: Pirates of the Caribbean - Un pódcast de Scott & Heather Artis - Pirates of the Caribbean

Welcome to the island of misfit pirates in this motley minute 9 of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. Join us for this episode as we discuss the return of the Motley Crew from The Curse of the Black Pearl – examining the reason why Captain Jack Sparrow would opt for these ragtag pirates over more fierce buccaneer specimens. In a move of comradery and in honor of Jack, we engage in a bit of word salad, try to determine if Jack is strategically lying in his manipulation of the crew (a character trait that was established in The Curse of the Black Pearl), discuss Jack’s jewelry, the drawing of the Key to Dead Man’s Chest and its sound effect, and wrap up the show with a Jedi mind trick regarding the animal actors that portray Jack the monkey and Cotton’s parrot.
