From Washington - Dr Felice Gersh - Estradiol, the hormon of life

Både och istället för antingen eller - en podd om integrativ medicin och hälsa - Un pódcast de Integrativ Medicin

Professor Felice Gersh is an internationally renowned expert in integrative medicine, specializing in hormonal health and women’s well-being.   She is a board-certified gynecologist and obstetrician, as well as an accomplished author and sought-after speaker, often emphasizing the importance of hormones like estradiol in women’s health.   Estradiol, a form of estrogen, plays a pivotal role in many of Gersh’s research areas. She highlights how this hormone impacts not only reproductive health but also brain function, emotional well-being, and long-term mental health—for both women and men.   Estradiol’s interaction with various bodily systems, such as the nervous and immune systems, is a key focus within integrative medicine, which seeks to understand the body as an interconnected whole.   During the conference, we had the opportunity to interview her for our podcast. In our conversation, she shared her extensive knowledge about the connection between hormones and mental health, as well as how integrative medicine offers unique tools to enhance well-being in a personalized and holistic way.   Thank you for listening to “Both And, Instead of Either Or – A Podcast About Integrative Medicine and Health.”   Follow us on social media, and please give us five stars on iTunes if you found this episode valuable.   Don’t forget to subscribe to the podcast!   ❤️ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/integrativmedicin ❤️ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/integrativMedicin ❤️ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/both_instead_of_either_or
