Chapter 123 – Seventh Year – Darkness Falls

After Sirius's eighteenth birthday party on November 4th ends at 2 AM, Remus and Sirius argue about not spending enough time together due to keeping their relationship secret. On November 26th, Remus and Christopher encounter supernatural darkness in a castle corridor where a boggart has been deliberately placed, appearing first as a rotting corpse to Christopher and then as a full moon to Remus. After defeating it with Riddikulus, Remus uses the Marauder's Map to discover Regulus Black, Barty Crouch Jr, and Garrick Mulciber were waiting on the other side as proof they planted the boggart as a trap.
